To outsource or not to outsource? That is the question. For the majority of U.S. companies, the answer is a resounding "Yes." Global outsourcing is the latest topic of discussion on an interesting blog, "Think Flat."
China has been referred to as "the new frontier" when it comes to global outsourcing. That opportunity has not gone unnoticed by Simon School alumni. Many of them are seizing the opportunities in China--which they call "boundless."
Simon School Associate Professor of Accounting Joanna Shuang Wu, a native of China, says the business opportunities there "hold the promise of magnificent rewards, but also represent significant risk."

I think the question "To outsource or not to outsource?" is moot. The bigger question is how do you learn to manage globalization and outsourcing; right?
