I'm back from London and the business schools/media conference was a huge success! The conference brought marketing and communications directors from the world's top business schools, including the Simon Graduate School of Business, together with international media for three days of networking and sharing best practices.
B-school marketing and communications directors met media from the U.K. and Central and Eastern Europe including The Times of London, Financial Times of London, Economist Intelligence Unit, Handelsblatt (Germany), La Tribune (France), The Economist, La Repubblica (Italy), City A.M. (London), Careers.bg, Ziarul Financiar (Romania), &.Strategies (Ukraine), Intermediair (Holland and Belgium), Capital Weekly (Bulgaria), among others.
A big thank you to Kiki Keating and her team from Tuck Business School who organized the conference and to Gemma Lines at the Cass Business School in the City of London who hosted it. An impressive roster of journalists were there to discuss their topics of interest and best practices for pitching stories. In addition to the Simon School, Cass and Tuck, B-schools in attendance included: Cornell (Johnson), Columbia, University of Virginia (Darden), ESADE, Duke (Fuqua), Berkeley (Haas), Harvard, IEDC (Bled), IESE, IE, Georgia State (Robinson), University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler), London Business School, Manchester Business School (U.K.), M.I.T. (Sloan), University of Western Ontario (Ivey), Rotman School of Management, University of Oxford (Said), University of British Columbia (Sauder), SMU (Cox), St. Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management (Russia), Stanford, Carnegie-Mellon (Tepper), Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School (Belgium), Warwick Business School (U.K.), University of Pennsylvania (Wharton).
Our next Business Access Media Conference is in NYC in October. More to come!
Sorry I missed it. Looking forward to the NYC event.
